representations and enigmas

in the opening of our film we are planning to use specific representations and enigmas to drive the narrative and draw the audience in to the film.

• hoodies
• graffiti on walls 
• tower blocks
• dialect from main characters

enigmas we plan to set in our opening

• who are they on the phone to ?
• who is watching them in the ending of the sequence?
• where are they going

We chose to use these representations to show the divide in society and more social issues to come later on in the narrative. We decided to do this as title sequences often start with an action scene to draw the audience in to the feeling of the movie.

We were influenced by the opening of Harry Brown's various cinematography techniques through there point of view shots so we will use this in parts of our filming to make it more dramatic.
